The ATEN CL3116 LCD KVM Switch offers a space-saving, optimized approach to KVM switch technology by integrating a keyboard, an 18.5" LED-backlit LCD monitor, and a touchpad into a 1U rack-mountable sliding case. The shallow depth design maximizes space efficiency for equipping rack-mounted devices in tight environments. Additionally, the exclusive LED lighting provides users with good visibility when working in low-light conditions.

The CL3116 can control up to 16 computers; when 16 additional KVM switches are cascaded, a single CL3116 LCD KVM Switch can manage up to 256 computers. To enhance operational efficiency, the CL3116 offers a broadcast mode, where the console sends commands to all computers to perform operations simultaneously. Furthermore, the automatic scan mode meets the requirements for continuous monitoring of a specific group of computers, establishing a reliable working environment for users.

To increase information security, the CL3116 features a two-level password protection that prevents unauthorized users from viewing and controlling the computers. For added convenience, the CL3116 includes an extra hot-plug capable USB mouse port that supports only HID devices for keyboard and mouse.
