The new KN1000A Single-Port KVM over IP Switch from ATEN provides "over-IP" access and control for traditional KVM switches and servers that do not have their own over-IP functionality. It allows system operators to monitor and access computers from remote locations for troubleshooting down to the BIOS level, using standard web browsers or Windows and Java-based applications, without the need for constant on-site IT maintenance. Additionally, the KN1000A supports out-of-band access with external modem support in case the LAN is no longer available.
