The ASUS ZenScreen MB16ACE is designed to support your productivity—no matter where you are. It is a portable monitor with a hybrid signal solution, meaning it requires only a single USB cable to be fully compatible with virtually any laptop. With an ultra-slim profile of 8 mm and a weight of just 0.71 kg, the ZenScreen MB16ACE is also one of the lightest portable 15.6-inch screens.
Hybrid signal solution: Support for USB Type-A and USB Type-C
The ZenScreen MB16ACE requires only one USB connection for the transmission of power and video signals from the host device. It offers maximum compatibility through an innovative hybrid signal solution with native support for USB Type-C connections and the use of an installed driver for USB Type-A ports. The reversible USB design can be used on either side.

Source: Digitec GalaxusThe LG gram is the clear test winner. The high-resolution WQXGA display offers great colours, high viewing angle stability and is sufficiently bright. However, the LG is slightly unstable in portrait mode. Only if your notebook does not have a USB-C port should you go for the Asus. You can connect it thanks to an adapter.
The 15.6-inch Zenscreen monitor uses a finely matted Full HD display and only one USB-C port. Thus, it works neither with DisplayPort nor HDMI adapters due to the lack of power supply. The colour gamut of the high-contrast IPS panel is quite small, and its display becomes darker and duller when viewed from the side...
As a second display with good portability and only one USB-C cable (incl. power supply) to connect easily, this model is quite appealing for enlarging the image display.
