Alle Gaming-Monitor im Test überzeugen durch ihre gute Spiele-Performance. Zwar fallen die ermittelten Reaktionszeiten durchwegs etwas höher aus als die Herstellerangabe, die stets 1 Millisekunde lautet. ...In der Praxis kann der XG27VQ das Versprechen vom schnellen Spielen nicht halten: Das VA-typisch träge Panel benötigte für den einfachen Bildwechsel selbst mit der Overdrive-Stufe 2 noch knapp 11 Millisekunden, was schlierenfrei nur für gut 90 Hz taugt. Beim Wechsel von Schwarz zu Dunkel- oder Mittelgrau vergingen bis zu 22 ms – das ist selbst für 60 Hz zu wenig...
Auch wenn das Display Performance-technisch nicht mit den bereits getesteten Geräten der ROG-Reihe mithalten kann, ist es den Ingenieuren gelungen, es mit verschiedenen Tools so weit zu optimieren, dass die Schwächen subjektiv kaum wahrzunehmen sind und letztendlich ein sehr ordentliches Spielgefühl aufkommt.
