Astell&Kern SP3000T

The cabinet of the SP3000T Copper is made of more than 99.98% pure copper with an additional multi-layer coating, which ensures that the beautiful colour and noble shine are retained without any special care. Copper is known for its excellent sound transmission and resonance properties, which gives the SP3000T Copper a particularly beautiful sound colour and a high level of detail.

The Astell&Kern SP3000T is a unique fusion of analogue charm and digital precision. At the heart of the SP3000T are two vintage vacuum tubes that form part of an innovative triple amp system. This system, originally introduced with the SP2000T in 2021, allows users to customise their listening experience by choosing between tube amplification, digital amplification or a mix of both to suit their personal preferences. The SP3000T's tube amplifier technology produces a warm and inviting sound reminiscent of classic tube amplifiers. This is complemented by a specially developed operational amplifier that has been optimised over the years for Astell&Kern digital audio players and is characterised by crystal-clear reproduction, minimal noise and dynamic sound. The hybrid amplifier mode uses the strengths of both worlds to create a special sound quality that combines the fine analogue nuances with the precision of digital output.

An outstanding feature of the SP3000T is the strict separation of the digital and analogue signal paths, which is made possible by the use of AKM's high-end DAC, the AK4499EX, in combination with the AK4191EQ, a dedicated digital delta-sigma modulator. This innovative architecture results in unique sonic purity by minimising digital noise. The operation of the SP3000T is ensured by a Snapdragon 6125 octa-core processor and 8GB DDR4 RAM, which ensures smooth and fast operation.
