Artemide Ixa LED light series

Ixa LED Lighting Series. The dynamic sculptures of Alexander Calder inspired the British architectural team Foster+Partners to create this design for the Italian brand Artemide. With thoughtful precision engineering, they refine the elegant balance of geometric shapes, dynamically bringing rods, spherical light heads, and counterweights into equilibrium. This allows for flexible light arrangement in the space, which can be individually adjusted to meet varying needs. Moreover, the sustainably functional design playfully encourages users to continually rethink and realign their lighting, essentially becoming the creator of their own light space.

Ixa LED Wall Light. While the arc-shaped holder is rigid yet swivels within its circular wall mount, the arm with the spherical light head and counterweight invites individual calibration of the light: whether horizontally or vertically, shining upwards or downwards – the wall light not only illuminates objects on the wall but also extends over a meter into the room as an arc lamp. With its magnetically adjustable light head, the wall lamp can also serve as a reading and office light.
