Artemide Edge

Edge lighting series. A cube that plays with geometry: Alessandro Mendini takes the familiar cube out of its usual resting position and sets it on a corner for the Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide. This corner is skillfully cut to create a new surface with lighting benefits. Fully encased in robust plastic, the lighting series is somewhat resistant to moisture and is suitable for kitchens and bathrooms. Artemide offers the captivating Alessandro Mendini design either as a pendant light or as a wall and ceiling light, providing indirect, glare-free illumination wherever it is used. The Edge wall and ceiling light discreetly conceals a wall mount in the cut corner of this unusual fixture. Beneath the recess is a standard E27 socket that can be equipped according to individual lighting preferences.
