Artemide Dalù

Dalù Table Lamp. A reissued gem from the 1960s by Italian designer Vico Magistretti for Artemide: a half-sphere and a sixth-sphere that merge seamlessly despite their strict geometric construction. This curved form is made possible by the chosen injection molding process of the thermoplastic material. Artemide offers the design classic Dalù Table Lamp in both transparent and colored plastic. The light emitted at a reading-friendly angle serves its purpose, but especially with the transparent variants, the shimmering casing quickly distracts from reading; the light bulb used becomes part of the construction (E 14 socket, max. 25 W incandescent bulb or 18 W Halogen Eco bulb). If the Dalù Table Lamp from Artemide is used as a bedside lamp, it is advisable to choose the colored and thus light-shielding variant, where the lamp socket discreetly disappears under an opaque cover.
