Product details

The Ag9120-S is a module for energy harvesting from a conventional Category 5 twisted-pair Ethernet cable, in accordance with the IEEE 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) standard.

The Ag9120-S provides the PoE compatibility signature and power classification, allowing Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) to deliver up to 15W of power to the port.

The highly efficient DC/DC converter operates over a wide input voltage range (typically 36V to 48V) and offers a regulated low residual ripple and noise output. The DC/DC converter also features built-in overload and short-circuit protection.

Features:

* IEEE802.3af compliant
* Small SIL package size - 56 mm (L) x 14 mm (H)
* Low output ripple and noise
* Input voltage range 36V to 57V
* Overload and short-circuit protection
* Highly efficient DC/DC converter (typically 75%)
* 1500V isolation (input to output)

This module can be used with the Arduino Yun.
