Product details

Arduino Motor Shield Rev3

The Arduino Motor Shield is based on the L298, a dual full-bridge driver designed to drive inductive loads such as relays, magnets, DC motors, and stepper motors. You can drive two DC motors with your Arduino board and independently control the speed and direction of each one. Additionally, you can measure the current consumption of each motor. The shield is TinkerKit compatible, meaning you can quickly create projects by plugging TinkerKit modules onto the board.

  • Operating voltage: 5 to 12 V
  • Motor controller: L298P, drives 2x DC motors or 1x stepper motor
  • Maximum current: 2 A per channel or max. 4 A (with external power supply)
  • Current measurement: 1.65 V/A
  • Freewheeling stop and braking function.
