The fourth generation of Apricorn's Secure Keys offers next-generation security features and operating temperatures that are up to 25% cooler. It features software-free, 100% hardware-based 256-bit AES-XTS encryption, onboard keyboard PIN authentication, and ultra-fast USB 3.1 (3.0) data transfer speeds. All data is encrypted during operation, and the PINs as well as device data remain encrypted while the drive is at rest. It is fully cross-platform and operating system independent, working with Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, Chrome, embedded systems, and devices that have a USB port with power connection and a storage file system. All internal components are protected from physical tampering with a layer of hardened epoxy resin, and the locked firmware makes the device immune to malware attacks such as BadUSB.
