Some tablets offer the latest technology such as OLED screens, 5G mobile communications and fast processors, but if you can do without them, you get a little less high-tech, but often a great value for money...
Same price, twice as much memory, longer battery life, better display and noticeably faster - the cheapest iPad has improved significantly. And the smallest version is enough. Extra money is better invested in a good keyboard or the Apple Pencil.
With the M3, the iPad Air 2025 gets significantly more power - so much so that it becomes a favourable alternative to the iPad Pro. The Pro model is only clearly ahead in terms of the display. With the Magic Keyboard, the Air can even replace a MacBook. The base price of the Air is perfectly acceptable for the performance it offers, but the extra costs for more memory and mobile internet really hurt.
The iPad Air is skilfully positioned between the entry-level device and the iPad Pro. It offers plenty of power, an outstanding display and support for the Apple Pencil Pro. Of course, we would have preferred a 120 Hz display. But if you can live with 60 Hz, the iPad Air M3 is a powerful aid for school, work and, of course, for all your needs at home - and at a very attractive price.
