It features management capabilities via network, serial interface, USB, or optional Ethernet connection. It includes PowerChute Network Shutdown software for convenient monitoring and control, safe operating system shutdown, and innovative energy management functions.

The intelligent battery management from technology leader APC optimizes battery performance and lifespan through intelligent precision charging with temperature compensation. Automatic self-tests ensure battery reliability and provide early notification for battery replacement. The battery modules are easy to connect and can be replaced while the system is running.
