The Smart-UPS series from APC protects your critical data with reliable, uninterruptible power supply. The 19-inch housing can be installed in a rack or used freestanding with the included stand. The device offers a capacity of 1000 VA with a maximum output power of 800 watts. In the event of a power outage, the device ensures independent power supply for 8 to 20 minutes (100%/50% load). Its LC display always shows the most important parameters such as operating mode and efficiency, voltage, frequency, and energy consumption. A clear menu allows for intuitive operation of all device functions. For management via computer, a USB and a serial RS-232D or EIA-561 interface are available. With the SmartSlot, you can expand the device functions according to your needs.

The C13 power outlets are divided into three groups: the behavior in the event of a power interruption can be flexibly set for two of them. For example, non-critical peripheral devices can be disconnected from the power supply to save battery. The sealed lead-acid battery with gelled electrolyte is completely maintenance-free. The UPS calculates the expected battery life and detects premature aging through regular battery tests. The voltage applied during charging is adjusted to the temperature of the battery, allowing for particularly gentle charging, which positively affects the lifespan. A high efficiency of typically over 90% helps keep power consumption and cooling requirements low, thus benefiting both the environment and your budget.
