Stay online and prevent data loss. Thanks to double conversion technology, an APC Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line Li-Ion provides all connected devices with perfectly clean power at all times. Power outages have no effect on this system. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line automatically delivers emergency power without the need for switching. This prevents unwanted downtime for servers, storage, or switches, for example. With the integrated network card and the accompanying APC PowerChute Network Shutdown software, the UPS can send a shutdown signal over the network to multiple physical and/or virtual servers, allowing them to be automatically and safely powered down when the UPS battery is nearly empty. This helps prevent data loss, downtime, and physical damage to hardware.
