The APC Smart-UPS SMT2200RMI2UC is a rack-mounted uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that provides reliable backup power and protection for critical IT equipment. With a power capacity of 2200VA and 8 C13 as well as 1 C19 output connections, it ensures compatibility with servers, switches, and other network devices. In the event of a power outage, it automatically delivers uninterrupted power to prevent data loss, downtime, and hardware damage. The unit includes PowerChute software for automated, controlled shutdown of connected devices, thereby enhancing data integrity. It offers surge protection against voltage spikes, such as those caused by lightning strikes, and safeguards sensitive electronics. SmartConnect functionality allows for easy network integration via an Ethernet port and remote monitoring through the APC mobile web portal or integration with platforms like Kaseya and ConnectWise. An optional network management card supports SNMP for remote management and shutdown signals to multiple physical or virtual servers. The UPS features an LCD display for local control and a user-replaceable internal battery cartridge (RBC43) that can be changed without shutting down connected devices, extending system lifespan.
