The intelligent charger PhotoCam V charges 1 to 4 NiMH or NiCd batteries in sizes Micro AAA, Mignon AA, Baby C, and Mono D, as well as a 9V block E. For cylindrical cells, a quick capacity test is performed for about 5 seconds after inserting the batteries. The charging status is indicated by an LED for each charging slot. The reverse polarity protection prevents incorrect insertion of the batteries. A microcontroller-monitored charging control with automatic shut-off ensures optimal charging results. After charging is complete, the cylindrical cells can remain in the device. With a maintenance charge, they are kept fresh and are always ready for use with 100% full charge. 9V blocks are charged continuously and should be removed from the device after the calculated charging time to avoid overcharging. What will delight many travelers: thanks to the wide-range input, the PhotoCam V can be used worldwide (with an adapter) from 100 to 240V.
