What exactly does maxE mean? The self-discharge is ten times lower than that of standard NiMH batteries. After one year, about 80% of the initial capacity is still available. This has been made possible by a special separator that drastically reduces unwanted internal current flow. Since the batteries are delivered pre-charged, they can be used immediately.
