Amewi AMXFlight L-39 Albatros red 550mm electric motor jet model PNP

The Aero L-39 Albatros is a two-seat, single-engine training aircraft that was developed in Czechoslovakia as the successor to the L-29 Delfin and is still used by the air forces of several nations today. The AMEWI model is a small, agile jet in PNP (Plug and Play) configuration and an upgraded version V2. The changes from the V1 version primarily concern the propulsion system. Instead of a 5-blade impeller, a completely newly developed 11-blade impeller and a 30A Hobbywing controller have been installed. The advantage of this upgrade lies in the increased performance while also providing a noticeably more pleasant sound from the impeller.

The aircraft comes mostly pre-assembled; the assembly is limited to attaching the wings, linkages, and tail section. All servos (3x 8g), the 50mm impeller including a 4900KV brushless motor, and the 30A Hobbywing ESC are already installed.

The jet is designed to accommodate 3S Li-Po batteries between 850 and 1000mAh, which gives the L-39 impressive flight performance. The speed ranges from fast to slow, making it suitable for less experienced pilots as well. Its agility and roll rate are also impressive, offering a wide spectrum from very nimble to docile. The takeoff behavior is completely non-critical, allowing the model to be easily hand-launched. The jet shows no tendencies to the typical nose-down behavior of impeller models. Due to its small size, this model is the perfect car trunk flyer for quick sessions and provides a lot of fun, even in a group with multiple models.
