Alphacool NexXxoS ST25

As usual, Alphacool relies on pure copper for the NexXxoS ST25 Slim radiators. The chambers, water channels, and cooling fins are made of copper, which is a unique feature worldwide. To maximize the performance of a radiator, Alphacool employs various advanced techniques. It all starts with copper. With a thermal conductivity of 400 W/(mK) for copper compared to 236 W/(mK) for aluminum, the winner is clear. Additionally, there is a special fin density.

Alphacool is one of the oldest companies in the field of water cooling and has conducted countless laboratory tests. The result is a fin spacing of 15 FPI. This slightly restricts airflow, as air can flow through without high pressure. However, cooling performance does not suffer; on the contrary. To optimize airflow, all cooling fins feature small flaps. These are tiny wings that direct the airflow in the desired direction. In the radiators, these flaps are barely 1 mm high, yet they create controlled air turbulence to enhance cooling performance and minimize flow noise.
