The helix inside the expansion tank creates a special effect reminiscent of a DNA strand, making it a true eye-catcher. In the center of the expansion tank, there is a UV cathode tube powered by a 3-pin connector. When using UV-reactive water, a strong glow radiates from within the tank. This is a truly unique effect that impresses. The bottom and the lid are made entirely of acetal but are covered by aluminum caps for a sophisticated look. The aluminum caps do not come into contact with the water. The connection options are extensive: there are three G1/4" threads each on the lid and the bottom. Additionally, there are two more G1/4" connection options on the side of the bottom, allowing for various mounting positions. Two different mounting sets are included. One set consists of the aluminum brackets known from the Ice Cup series, which align flush with the Ice Cup Helix at the top and bottom and allow for the expansion tank to be mounted on a radiator. This requires a 240 mm or 280 mm radiator or a larger counterpart, such as a 360 mm or 420 mm radiator. Alternatively, clip mounts are included, which can each be secured to the case with a screw. The Ice Cup Helix simply clips in, providing flexible options for mounting.
