Alphacool Ice block XPX

The Alphacool Eisblock XPX cooler is the latest development in CPU coolers from Alphacool. The performance of the XPX cooler has been significantly improved compared to its predecessor, the NexXxoS XP3. This was only possible because Alphacool completely redesigned the Eisblock XPX cooler from the ground up. On one hand, the fin structure has been refined to 0.2 mm, and the number of fins has been increased to 81. This has resulted in a significantly larger cooling surface through which the water can flow. To ensure even water distribution across the fins, Alphacool has developed a "ramp," which is also patented. This design prevents turbulence at the inlet to the cooling fins, which can lead to uneven water distribution. Additionally, Alphacool uses a dual distributor that reduces resistance. Together with the ramp, the pump pressure no longer plays a significant role in the cooler's performance. You can lower the pump performance and operate your system even more quietly without losing cooling efficiency.

The base area of the XPX Eisblock has also been optimized for CPUs with large dies, as the cooling surface where the water actually flows has been enlarged to 34 x 32 mm, making it suitable for even large 10-core CPUs. The mounting system has also been adjusted and simplified, allowing for easy production of new mounts for any socket type, which can be provided if needed. The aluminum frames also come in the same color as the cooler itself. Alphacool also caters to fans of customization, as the aluminum body that covers the entire cooler can be swapped for other models in different colors. The mounting kit can also be color-customized. Alternative inserts with different colors are offered for the illuminated Alphacool logo.
