Product details

The Alphacool Core ATX bridging plug is a simple but highly effective tool. Once the water cooling system is assembled, the system must be filled. To do this, the pump needs power from the power supply unit, and the system itself should remain unpowered for safety reasons. To be able to start the power supply without booting the entire computer, the 24-pin ATX connector is disconnected from the mainboard, thus deactivating the power supply. The 24-pin bridging plug is now plugged into the 24-pin connector of the power supply unit and the pump is connected to the power supply unit. After pressing the power switch, the power supply unit starts and the pump is supplied with power. This makes it very easy to fill the system.
