The Alphacool Eiszapfen HardTube fittings are among the most popular hard tube water cooling fittings on the market. They are particularly distinguished by their high manufacturing quality and the triple sealing system.

High-Quality Coating
Alphacool uses an advanced chromating process to apply color to the brass fitting. This not only results in a more uniform color but also significantly enhances durability and resistance to external influences. Triple Seal
Sealing is essential for a water circuit. Therefore, Alphacool employs three sealing rings in these Eiszapfen fittings to seal the hard tube. Two O-rings are integrated into the fitting, while the third O-ring serves as a closure and is attached together with the hard tube. The fixation is achieved through the locking nut. This not only provides triple security but also increases the tensile strength of the hard tube. This means that considerable force is required to pull the hard tube out of the closed fitting.

Installation
First, remove the locking nut along with the O-ring inside it. The fitting is then screwed onto any component with a G1/4" thread. The deburred hard tube that you want to insert into the fitting has the locking nut slid onto it first, followed by the remaining O-ring. The entire assembly is then pushed into the fitting until it is fully seated. The final step is simply to screw the locking nut onto the fitting.
