Product details

The red LED (Light Emitting Diode) is protected against overload with a current-limiting resistor. It only lights up when the diode is connected in the forward direction, meaning the current flows from the anode to the cathode. LEDs require a minimum forward voltage to illuminate, which is approximately 1.5 V for red LEDs.
