AKG Pro D5

The AKG D5 is a dynamic vocal microphone designed for singers and presenters. Its supercardioid polar pattern makes it resistant to feedback. Even on loud stages, you only hear what you want to hear. Thanks to a slight frequency boost in the mid and high ranges, the voice is reproduced clearly and powerfully. Unique to AKG is the patented Varimotion diaphragm, which ensures a balanced sound and excellent speech intelligibility. Unlike standard microphones, the diaphragm has varying thickness. The thicker center allows the microphone to handle very high sound pressure levels, while the thinner edge produces powerful bass. This allows vocals and speech to stand out even in a dense mix. Hand and cable noise are effectively minimized by the elastic capsule suspension. To avoid unwanted pop and breath noises, a windscreen is integrated into the microphone basket of the AKG D5. The microphone housing is made of metal and features a scratch-resistant coating, making it very durable and robust. A microphone holder and a microphone stand are included in the package.
