AKG Pro

The AKG C7 is a high-quality vocal microphone designed for concerts and live productions. It is ideally suited for singers who value precise and natural reproduction of their voice. The sound profile of the AKG C7 is finely detailed and rich in nuance. A slight boost in the high-frequency range enhances speech intelligibility and further supports the projection of the voice.

The sound of the AKG C7's condenser capsule is top-notch. It has excellent transient response and guarantees studio-quality voice transmission. Even loud signals with very high sound pressure (150 dB) are transmitted without distortion. Unwanted background noise from handling or plosive sounds is minimized with the AKG C7. The mechanical-pneumatic suspension of the microphone capsule effectively decouples handling noise. To prevent plosive and sibilant sounds, the microphone grille features a protective system made of three layers of special acoustic fleece.

The microphone has a supercardioid pattern that provides targeted directionality. Its narrow pickup field eliminates sound coming from the sides, making the AKG C7 particularly resistant to feedback.

The AKG C7 is built for durability and longevity. Its metal housing and spring steel grille make the microphone extremely robust. The diaphragm is gold-coated and resistant to moisture and corrosion.

Note: Microphones with a supercardioid pattern have a proximity effect. Depending on the distance and angle of the sound source, the microphone's sound can be shaped. At a close distance (under 5 cm), the voice sounds fuller, softer, and bass-heavy. As the distance increases, the sound becomes smoother and more spacious.
