AKG Pro C518 ml

The AKG C518 M is a condenser microphone designed for capturing drums and percussion. It can be quickly and securely attached to the instrument using the screw clamp. The frequency response has been tailored to ensure a very balanced reproduction of the sound from percussion instruments. The AKG C518 M features a cardioid polar pattern, effectively preventing crosstalk from neighboring instruments. Additionally, the microphone is resistant to feedback. With a 5 cm long gooseneck that can swivel 135°, you can position the microphone precisely. The microphone capsule is elastically mounted, minimizing unwanted noise caused by movement. The switchable low-cut filter helps avoid an overemphasis on low frequencies. The AKG C518 M requires a power supply (phantom power) of 9 – 52 volts. It can be connected to the microphone input of a mixer or a phantom power supply via a cable with an XLR connector. The microphone is also available with a mini-XLR connector as the AKG C518 ML, allowing it to be connected to bodypack transmitters of wireless systems or to a phantom power supply.
