Product details
The Adafruit RGB Positive 16x2 LCD+Keypad Kit for Raspberry Pi is an innovative solution for easily integrating an RGB 16x2 character LCD into your projects. This module allows for the control of the LCD as well as the RGB backlighting via the I2C interface, eliminating the need for numerous GPIO pins. With just two I2C pins, you can control the LCD, up to three backlight pins, and five buttons on the keypad. This makes the kit particularly user-friendly and ideal for projects that require a standalone user interface. The buttons are strategically placed on the right side, enhancing mechanical stability. The kit includes all necessary components, including a high-quality circuit board and a 16x2 RGB LCD, and is compatible with both Revision 1 and Revision 2 Raspberry Pi models.
- Control of the LCD and RGB backlighting via I2C, saving GPIO pins
