Adafruit Alphanumeric display Blue 4 characters I2C

Display the numbers 012345678 or 9 elegantly! With a hypnotic gaze on ABCDEFGHIJKLM, it can represent the entire alphabet. This is a beautiful, bright alphanumeric display that shows letters and numbers in a lovely blue hue. It is super bright and suitable for viewing distances of up to 7 meters. The digits feature seven white segments on a black background. We provide you with a set of two alphanumeric displays along with a driver board, so you can create a clock or a four-letter word.

Like our other LED backpacks, these are fully stackable. By soldering the address jumpers on the back, you can connect up to 8 backpacks, all sharing the same two I2C lines.

This product includes:

* 2 x ultra-bright blue alphanumeric displays - 0.54" digit height for a total of 4 digits
* 1 x Adafruit 14-segment LED alphanumeric backpack
* 1 x 5-pin header

A bit of soldering is required to attach the matrix to the backpack, but it is very simple and takes only about 5 minutes.
