The battle between different levels is finally over.
With the Adafruit Level Converter (Level Shifter, Level Translator) featuring the TXB0108 IC, you can now easily convert 8 signals bidirectionally - with automatic direction detection! Simply place the circuit between the two devices. Everything will be automatically recognized and leveled correctly.
On side A, voltages from 1.2 V to 3.6 V are allowed, while side B can handle 1.7 V to 5.5 V.
With one exception: I2C circuits use a very strong pull-up (small resistor) and therefore do not work on this board! Circuits with a weak pull-up (strong resistor, starting from 50 kOhm) work without any issues!.
