Product details
The Adafruit 16-Channel 12-bit PWM/Servo Shield is a versatile electronics module specifically designed for use with Arduino platforms. It allows for the control of up to 16 PWM outputs via an I2C interface, making it ideal for projects that require precise control of servos or LEDs. This shield is compatible with various Arduino models, including Uno, Leo, Mega, and ADK. By using only two I2C pins, multiple shields can be stacked to significantly increase the number of controllable PWM outputs. The module is 5V compatible and can be safely operated with 3.3V Arduinos, making it a flexible solution for various applications. With an integrated PWM driver and a built-in clock, it is not necessary to continuously send signals, which reduces the load on the microcontroller and increases efficiency.
- Control of up to 16 PWM outputs via I2C interface
- Compatible with various Arduino models
- Allows stacking of up to 62 shields for up to 992 PWM outputs
- Integrated PWM driver with free-running operation
- 5V compatible, suitable for 3.3V Arduinos and up to 6V outputs.
