The AC7431 is an officially USB-IF certified USB-C cable that supports the USB4 protocol. The USB4 cable achieves a maximum data transfer speed of up to 20 Gbps and can handle up to 240 W of power thanks to its extended power range. The AC7431 supports a maximum resolution of a 5K monitor or two 4K monitors in daisy-chain mode. It is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, and USB 2.0.

Fast data, high performance, and video over a USB4 cable. The AC7431 includes a smart E-marker chip that communicates with connected devices, such as a laptop or charger, to recognize the supported features of the cable. The AC7431 can handle data, power, and video.

The AC7431 USB-C cable incorporates USB4 technology, which natively supports the Thunderbolt 3 protocol. It achieves a maximum data transfer speed of up to 20 Gbps.

The EPR expands the USB4 cable with additional Power Delivery profiles (28 V, 36 V, and 48 V). The AC7431 includes the 48 V profile, allowing the cable to transmit a maximum power of 240 W. Cables with Standard Power Range (SPR) can only deliver 60 W.

The USB4 cable supports the DisplayPort Alternate Mode protocol for video distribution over USB-C. The AC7431 supports a maximum resolution of a 5K monitor at 60 Hz or two 4K monitors at 60 Hz in a daisy-chaining setup.

The AC7431 is officially certified by the USB-IF Corporation and has been tested to the highest standards. The official USB-IF logo can be found on the connector. ACT is a member of the USB Implementers Forum, Inc.
