TEF5-ON is a front-mounted electronic timer that provides a timing function and offers a compact solution in the control cabinet compared to separate timers, contactors, or contactor relays. A mechanical indicator shows the status of the contactor. The TEF5 electronic timers are connected directly to the coil terminals A1 - A2 of the contactor or contactor relay. An integrated varistor provides built-in protection against voltage surges in the contactor coil. The TEF5 is available for a wide control range of 24 to 240 V AC/DC. It enables time delay functions of up to 100 seconds across three different time ranges, regardless of the control system. The time delay ranges are selected via a switch, and the time delay can be set using a rotary switch. The time function of the TEF5-ON is activated by closing the device to which the timer is mounted.
