Product details

The thermistor motor protection relays CM-MSE and CM-MSS are used to control motors with PTC temperature sensors. The temperature sensors are integrated into the windings of the motors and directly measure the motor heating. This allows for immediate monitoring and evaluation of various operating conditions. Depending on the product, ATEX approvals for use in hazardous areas are also available. ABB also offers PTC temperature sensors C011 (according to DIN 44081), which can be embedded in motor windings.
