Product details

TF42 are economical electromechanical motor protection devices for currents up to 38 A. In the event of overload, they provide reliable thermal protection for the connected motors. TF42 are typically mounted on contactors AF09 to AF38, but with the help of a standalone mounting kit, the devices can also be mounted separately on a DIN rail. If the motor current set on the current scale is exceeded, the relays trigger via bimetal elements, thereby changing the switching position of the two auxiliary contacts 1S/1Ö. A pre-connected contactor is then switched off. The relays allow for manual or automatic reset, and they feature a test and stop function as well as a triggered indicator. The current scale of the devices is sealable. Accessories such as reset buttons and delay relays complement the range. TF42 have a tripping class of 10, are temperature compensated, phase failure sensitive, and have ATEX certification.
