Each lens in the Hope series features a standardized design with uniform lens gear positions, reducing the time required to adjust lens accessories when changing lenses. The Hope 16mm lens has a maximum aperture of T2.1 for lower light intake and shallow depth of field, minimal lens breathing and optical aberrations, as well as a multi-layer nano-coating that reduces flare effects.
