The Metal ProFill copper 2.85mm filament is an innovative 3D printing material filled with 80% gravimetric copper sand. This PLA filament offers easy printability and allows for the creation of objects with realistic metal properties. With a weight that is three times higher than that of conventional ProFill PLA, it provides an authentic metal feel and appealing texture. The thermal conductivity of the material opens up additional application possibilities. Thanks to the high filler content, the filament exhibits almost no warping characteristics, making the printing process easier. A specially developed lubricant ensures that the filament flows smoothly and does not stick to the nozzle, allowing for printing without retraction settings. It is compatible with most common 3D FDM printers that have a nozzle diameter of at least 0.35 mm. Please note that due to its abrasive properties, the filament may cause faster nozzle wear, so hardened nozzles are recommended.
