Switching adapter for Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro for H2D printers:

1. connection of a single AMS 2 Pro: A single AMS 2 Pro can be powered and dried directly from the H2D printer. An additional power supply unit is not required.

2. connection of several AMS 2 Pro: If the drying function is activated for several devices, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own power supply unit. Even if only one appliance is drying, the system power can be automatically reduced, resulting in insufficient drying. For optimum drying performance, the use of a power supply unit is recommended.

For printers in the X1/P1 series:

1. requirements for the drying function: a power supply unit must be used to activate the drying function in order to ensure a sufficient power supply.

2. connect several AMS 2 Pro devices together: If the drying function is activated for multiple devices, each AMS 2 Pro requires its own power supply unit.

3. use without drying function: The power supply unit can be omitted if the drying function is not used.

Notes: The AMS 2 Pro is compatible with X1/P1 series printers for multi-material printing. The filament drying function for these older generation devices will be implemented via an OTA update by the end of April.
