What is the difference between the manual photo app of this smartphone and the usual pro/manual mode of other manufacturers, such as Huawei? I can also set WB, Iso, Shutterspeed, EV, AFS/AFC and manual focus on Huawei. So it seems to me that the main supposed advantage over the competition is not really there, unless the user interface itself is decisive. Can anyone tell me more about the advantage?
As a user of this smartphone and a Sony Alpha camera, I see the advantage mainly in the fact that the Photo Pro app replicates the interface of the Sony Alpha cameras. So if you are used to working with an Alpha camera (A7 III, for example), you will find your way around immediately.
I don't see any functional differences to the "Pro Modes" of other manufacturers. At most, I think the layout of the interface is easier to use compared to the Pro Mode on the Galaxy S9+, for example.
