Brother Dcp-L2550dn
Laser, Black and white
Hello, I am toying with this printer for my home office. Occasionally print, copy and also scan. I would like to digitise my documents at home as much as possible. Is a duplex scan absolutely necessary for 2-sided documents or can I do this with this device? I am talking about a maximum of 5-10 documents per month... This device does not have Wi-Fi, but with Airprint and Android it should not be a problem. So I don't need Wi-Fi...what do you think?
Hello Dominikbau1
The B/W MFC-L2750DW also offers duplex scanning, as does the colour laser MFC-L3770CDW. In addition, some inkjet devices from Brother. I wouldn't want to do without it.
Greetings
Hi Dominikbau1,
this printer does NOT offer duplex scanning. But manual duplex is possible. I.e. the scan software supports multiple scan pages.
The smallest Brother that can do duplex scanning on one pass is the DCP-L6600DW. It's bigger and more expensive, but there's currently a cashback promotion for Fr. 120.00. Since you already have WLAN at home, you only need a LAN interface on the printer, which you connect to your router.
The DCP-L6600DW is a great device, it has WLAN but also LAN.
Cheers
