Question about WD Elements Desktop
I have been using this external hard drive for a long time for a backup. Unfortunately, it no longer works. When I connect the power supply, nothing happens (even the small LED does not light up). Since I neither hear nor see any reaction when I connect the hard disk, am I correct in assuming that it must be the power supply? And follow-up question: Do you have replacement power supplies for this ext. hard drive?

When the power supply unit is connected to the power supply alone, nothing is visible.
Only when the hard disk is connected to the computer with the USB cable does the inside of the hard disk light up and the computer simultaneously reports that a new device has been connected.
