This adapter is compatible with the Schuko standard in Europe and all other countries. Can I use it in Ireland?

No, Ireland uses type G (British plug - it's square, not round) [1], [2] and so you need a different plug, see [3] ("I'm travelling to" filter set to "Ireland" helps you search; already set in the link).
