To all those who want to operate 2 JBL Flip 5 with an iPhone 11 pro Max or iPad pro latest generation in stereo mode. Connection was unstable with my IOS devices, always had sound dropouts. Solution Connect both JBL Flip 5 with the iPhone via Bluetooth. Then set both Flip 5s to stereo mode using the JBL Connect app. Important: If the connection is now unstable, check which of the speakers is the primary one. Now manually disconnect the "other" speaker in the phone's Bluetooth settings and it will work.

Exactly. That's how you do it. Unfortunately, STEREO mode can only be activated via the app and has to be set up again every time the speakers are switched on...
