Great value for money BUT complicated to set up.
The setup trouble starts if you decide you don't want to use the HP Smart app, which is compulsory for the setup! Looks like HP are trying to hard-sell the Easy Ink option (which I didn't want). I also didn't want to sign up to an HP account, which requires my eMail adress and telephone number. It took me most of the afternoon finding an alternative. This does exist, but is not mentioned in the documentation provided. It's called HP Easy Start software, which can be found on the HP support website, which I have installed. I have discarded the HP Smart app, which I had to install for the initial setup procedure.. but only works properly if you sign in with an HP account!!!!!

Only problems
This printer from HP did not work smoothly from the beginning. Again and again, printing was only possible after switching it off and on again.
Last but not least, it did not recognize the newly inserted printer cartridges (original HP). Even with the clear Anleitugen of HP the problem could not be solved.Pro

Super printer just right for students
Very good printing performance. Product very good and not as expensive as other printers.
Setup a total flop!
I bought the printer based on the majority of positive reviews here. However, I cannot confirm these.
The wireless setup is tedious and took me several hours. HP support refers to the HP Smart App, which you have to download to your notebook and without which nothing works. It's a shame that this app always tells you that a printer is not found on the network, even though it should be found by the app. In the end, I still managed to set up the printer.
In addition, HP constantly wants to sell you "HP Instant Ink", a printer cartridge subscription. This super-mega-good-ecological (hope you can hear the irony) offer has to be clicked away about 10 times.
I also have to criticize the ease of use. If I want to copy something, this is by no means intuitively possible, but if you have read the manual, then it is clear how to copy.
In addition to the printer, the scope of delivery includes a network connector for Switzerland and a foreign country, the first printer cartridges and also some paperwork.
I use the printer with a MacBook Pro M1 (latest generation) and unfortunately I can't give it a recommendation.Pro

Fits, prints, scans
We were looking for an occasional printer for home use, from a quick picture or document to scanning and copying. The small HP fulfils all these requirements perfectly, and the ink is affordable. We didn't use the ink subscription, the idea is good, but the "sporadic" means that we print 100 pages and then nothing for weeks. That's why I didn't want to enter into anything binding. But I am satisfied with the printer itself, HP simply builds things that work well.
