RØDE SC6 - In/Out Breakout Box for Smartphones
Exactly, this is how it should work. Important: the 2 input sockets only work with smartphone microphones (TRRS pin assignment). With the RØDE SC3 TRRS to TRS Adapter you can adapt the output connector back to the standard pin assignment that is common for audio recorders and cameras.
Hello and thank you for your question. The last time I used this adapter, it was to monitor the sound of the microphone connected to it. I can't assure you that this adapter is compatible with a Zoom conference, as the instructions don't mention this possibility. However, I imagine that it's a passive adapter: if you can hold a Zoom meeting with the phone's original wired headset + microphone, then it should work with your HD25 + an external microphone, provided that it's fitted with a TRRS jack or a TRS > TRRS adapter. I hope I've been helpful. Sincerely
We have two RØDE Wireless GO connected to the SC6, each with an SC4. It is also possible to expand with a coupler on one of the SC4s (e.g. Vivanco 3.5mm plug 2x3.5mm coupler).
Hi. I haven't tried this on cameras yet. It works with a Zoom H6. No guarantee, but I could imagine it.
What is the difference between the SC6 and the SC 6 L ? The SC 6 only works for me with a mic on it.
The SC6 is connected to the normal headphone socket (jack socket) of the smartphone. The SC6-L is connected to the Lightning connector of Apple smartphones/iPads/iPods. L stands for Lightning.
Yes, that should work according to our information.
We have now updated the product description, hopefully this will also answer your question :).
