The last time I used this adapter, it was to monitor the sound of the microphone connected to it. I can't assure you that this adapter is compatible with a Zoom conference, as the instructions don't mention this possibility.
However, I imagine that it's a passive adapter: if you can hold a Zoom meeting with the phone's original wired headset + microphone, then it should work with your HD25 + an external microphone, provided that it's fitted with a TRRS jack or a TRS > TRRS adapter.
