To all those who want to operate 2 JBL Flip 5 with an iPhone 11 pro Max or iPad pro latest generation in stereo mode. Connection was unstable with my IOS devices, always had sound dropouts. Solution Connect both JBL Flip 5 with the iPhone via Bluetooth. Then set both Flip 5s to stereo mode using the JBL Connect app. Important: If the connection is now unstable, check which of the speakers is the primary one. Now manually disconnect the "other" speaker in the phone's Bluetooth settings and it will work.

Is it possible to deactivate the automatic switch-off? Because if I don't listen to music for a short time, all the boxes switch off and I have to switch them on again individually and connect them.

Does the Flip 5 actually have 2.1 channel output and is a stereo speaker? Everywhere else I read that it is mono.

It does not have a 3.5 jack, which is also stated in the specifications. We had the wrong information about the wattage: it is 20 watts. This information will be corrected in the next few days.
