Product details

Some applications require a battery with maximum endurance. For example, smoke detectors, which are often installed in hard-to-reach places, making battery replacement a significant effort. The 9-volt battery from GP is such a powerhouse. A battery that allows smoke detectors to operate significantly longer. It is also commonly used for remote-controlled toys, wireless microphones, fire alarms, metal detectors, headphones, and game controllers. This lithium battery has a lifespan five times longer than an average alkaline battery. It has been specifically designed for use under extreme temperature conditions: from -40 °C to 60 °C. Its durability is also unmatched. Some people even believe that GP's 9-volt block is the very best battery for smoke detectors. We certainly do not disagree with this statement. The GP 9-volt battery, designated CR-V9, is suitable as a replacement for batteries with the following designations: U9VL, U9VL-J, L522, and L522MJ.
