"Wild Rift is the pocket version of League of Legends. Tactical skill and nimble fingers are required. You can prove it yourself by taking part in the Playground Session.

Get out the charging cable for your smartphone. Wild Rift" will be played on Saturday. The mobile version of the e-sports colossus "League of Legends" is on the Playground Session menu this week. The mini tournament is the perfect appetizer for digitec Playground Vol. 7, which starts on June 4. There, the main course is called "League of Legends".

Registration and schedule

Like its big brother, "Wild Rift" is played five against five. You can either register alone, in which case you will be randomly mixed into a team on tournament day. Alternatively, you can register as a complete team of five.

Tournament date: May 14th, check-in 13:00 - 13:30

Here is the registration link

Being the game and gadget geek that I am, working at digitec and Galaxus makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop – but it does take its toll on my wallet. I enjoy tinkering with my PC in Tim Taylor fashion and talking about games on my podcast http://www.onemorelevel.ch. To satisfy my need for speed, I get on my full suspension mountain bike and set out to find some nice trails. My thirst for culture is quenched by deep conversations over a couple of cold ones at the mostly frustrating games of FC Winterthur.
